Job summary

The Genuine Dining Co. is seeking a Development Chef to drive menu innovation across multiple sites in the North of England. The role focuses on mentoring site chefs, maintaining high culinary standards, and leading regional culinary initiatives.

You will develop menus, train teams, and oversee cost control to ensure profitability while delivering outstanding corporate dining experiences. Travel and Monday–Friday schedule are involved; competitive salary and benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Head Chef or Executive Chef experience, ideally with large-volume kitchens.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Creative, with a focus on innovation and consistent quality.
• Experience managing budgets and GP%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refresh menus with creativity and flair.
• Train and support site chefs, building skills and consistency.
• Maintain high culinary standards and implement new concepts.
• Oversee kitchen financials, including GP% and cost control.
• Lead seasonal projects and special initiatives across sites.
