ITN Productions is opening up an exciting role for a Development AP within the existing documentary development team. Reporting to the Head of Documentary Development and the Head of International Productions, you will originate ideas, deliver high-quality pitch materials, support other team members with research, and manage your own slate of projects.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication across verbal, written and visual channels.
• Detailed knowledge of TV landscape and commissioner needs, international market.
• Examples of visual treatments you have designed.
• Creativity and ability to collaborate with other team members.
• Track record of significant contribution to commissioned or development-funded projects.
• Track record securing challenging/competitive access.
• Highest standards of accuracy, attention to detail with complex material.
• Adept at working independently — a self-starter, juggling priorities.
• Calm under pressure and able to adapt.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to demonstrate our company values – Trust, Innovation and Collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Originate new ideas and contribute to brainstorms.
• Write and design pitch decks using PowerPoint or equivalent.
• Find and approach potential contributors and secure access.
• Conduct casting and contributor research with professionalism.
• Support pitch development with treatments and one-pagers.
• Keep across current TV landscape and commissioning briefs.
• Maintain clear records of research, contacts and progress.
