Job summary

Delta Housing in Chelmsford is hiring a Developer for an 18-month fixed-term, full-time IT role within our IT team. The role is hybrid, with in-office presence at least one day per week and additional attendance as business needs require.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT software development experience.
• Advanced Transact-SQL skills.

• Ability to reconcile migrated data between source and target systems with stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile and ITIL principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support desktop and mobile software solutions using agile development standards.
• Develop business software and data solutions using development standards.
• Integrate legacy and new applications using web services, APIs, and flat files.
• Adopt modern technologies such as Microsoft Power Platform.
• Manage fault resolution with third-party technical staff.
• Oversee day-to-day operation of business applications, including data integrations.

Salary: £55,055 - 55,055 per year

Requirements:

• We require 5 or more years of IT software development experience.
• We require advanced Transact-SQL skills.
• We require experience supporting data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, reconciliation reporting, and investigation of data quality issues.
• We require the ability to reconcile migrated data between source and target systems, identify exceptions, and work with technical and business stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• We require experience working with Agile and ITIL principles.

Responsibilities:

• We design, develop, and support desktop and mobile software solutions using our agile development standards.
• We develop business software and data solutions using our development standards.
• We integrate legacy and new applications using technologies and integration methods such as web services, APIs, and flat files.
• We adapt to and use modern technologies such as the Microsoft Power Platform.
• We manage fault resolution with third-party technical staff on our behalf.
• We oversee the day-to-day operation of our business applications, including data integrations.
