Government Recruitment Service is seeking a Risk and Assurance Officer for the Immigration Enforcement Detention Services Security Team in Strathaven. The role focuses on security reviews, assurance activities and safeguarding the detention estate.

The post requires travel to IRCs across the UK and regular shift work, with opportunities to engage with stakeholders and drive continuous improvement in safety and compliance.

Formación

• Experience in security assurance and risk reviews is desirable.
• Ability to analyse intelligence and security data for decision making.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake security reviews of Immigration Removal Centres to test physical and procedural security.
• Support security and intelligence processes, including handling referrals and maintaining registers.
• Collate and analyse operational intelligence to inform decision making and management.
• Conduct impartial assessments of use of force incidents with evidence-based feedback.
• Maintain knowledge of use of force techniques and deliver training sessions.
• Use Microsoft Office and IT systems to deliver high-quality work under pressure.
