Mitie is recruiting for a Detention Custody Officer at Larne House Residential Short-Term Holding Facility in Northern Ireland. The role requires safeguarding residents, maintaining security, and delivering compassionate care within a critical public service setting.

You will receive thorough training on full pay and work a 4-on-4-off rolling shift pattern, including days and nights. The position operates year-round with 42 hours per week.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and welfare of residents within a secure facility.
• Escort and transport residents as required, including on aircraft or ferries to the Mainland UK.
• Work across day and night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, 365 days a year.
