S1jobs is seeking a Detention Custody Officer at Dungavel Immigration Removal Centre. The role involves working a 4-on/4-off rolling shift pattern covering days, nights and weekends, with a 40-hour week and capped overtime.

You will join a 24-hour service environment and receive full training, including a 7-week classroom ITC course followed by 12 months of mentoring. We require UK citizenship or eligible status with ILR/EEA, a valid passport, DBS clearance, residency checks, a clean driving

Qualifications

• UK citizen or Commonwealth citizen with ILR or EEA status.
• Valid in-date passport with no UK stay restrictions.
• Biometric card with a current passport; out-of-date visas not accepted.
• Continuously resided in the UK for the past 5 years.
• Not spent more than 3 months overseas at any one time in the last 5 years.
• Enhanced DBS check; vetting to Counter Terrorist Checked (CTC) if offered.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no ban in the last 5 years.
• Not currently bankrupt.
• Able to work flexible days/nights to cover shifts.
• Complete a 7-week ITC training course followed by 12 months on-the-job mentoring.
