Job summary

Verify is seeking two Lab Technicians to support a forthcoming project at a customer facility in Prestwick, Scotland. The role involves destructive testing of composite spoiler structures, sample preparation, and DMA/ILSS testing under supervision, with full training provided.

Working on a 6-month contract, the position is on-site and requires adherence to lab safety and quality standards. The team will use Excel for data capture and analysis, with additional support from qualified Materials

Qualifications

• Experience in a lab or production environment is desirable but not essential.
• Understanding of composite materials or manufacturing processes is advantageous.
• Ability to operate lab/test equipment with training provided.
• Methodical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate laboratory equipment for destructive testing of composite spoiler structures.
• Prepare and cut test samples using Compcut/CNC saws (no programming required).
• Conduct physical testing procedures including DMA and ILSS.
• Prepare microscopy samples, including potting and polishing.
• Capture microscope images and record data using Excel.
• Follow established lab safety and quality standards.
