Job summary

Verify Europe is seeking two Composite Test Lab Technicians for a six‑month, on‑site contract at a customer facility in Prestwick, Scotland. The role sits inside IR35 with a recognised umbrella company required, paying £22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in a lab or production environment desirable
• Understanding of composite materials is an advantage
• Able to work with machinery and test equipment (training provided)
• Strong attention to detail and procedure compliance
• Self-motivated and reliable
• Competent IT skills including Excel
• Good teamwork and clear communication

Responsibilities

• Operate laboratory equipment for destructive testing of composite spoiler structures
• Prepare and cut test samples using Compcut/CNC saws (no programming required)
• Conduct DMA and ILSS physical testing procedures
• Prepare microscopy samples, including potting and polishing
• Capture microscope images and perform basic fibre volume measurements
• Accurately record data and results in Excel
• Ensure tasks comply with lab safety and quality standards
