Job summary

GREENCORE Bow in London is hiring for a full-time packaging role within our food production team. You will assemble and prepare sandwich boxes, palletise finished products and operate despatch machinery, ensuring accurate paperwork and adherence to use-by dates.

The role runs 4on4off, 18:00–06:00 at the Bow site (London E3 3JG). We offer training/development, pension contributions, employee awards, discounts, and wellbeing resources to support career growth.

Qualifications

• Physically fit to handle manual tasks and long standing periods.
• Basic numeracy and literacy (maths and English) essential for packaging and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain product quality and safety.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and prepare sandwich boxes with care, checking use-by dates.
• Palletise finished products securely to meet shipping standards.
• Operate despatch machinery safely and efficiently (belt machines, ice printers, sealing tape).
• Complete and submit paperwork accurately within deadlines, following procedures.
• Communicate clearly with Production to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
• Maintain health and safety standards and keep a clean, organized work area.

What you will be doing:

• Assemble and prepare sandwich boxes with care, ensuring product quality and accurate use-by dates are checked and maintained
• Palletisefinished products by stacking boxes correctly and securely to meet shipping standards
• Operatedespatchmachinery including belt machines, ice printers, and sealing tape machines safely and efficiently
• Complete and submit all required paperwork accurately and within deadlines, ensuring compliance with company procedures
• Maintain clear and effective communication with the Production Department to coordinateworkflowand resolve any issues promptly
• Adhere to health and safety standards and maintain a clean,organisedwork area
