Job summary

Greencore Bow in London is seeking a full-time production operative for the busy preparation area. You will ensure ingredients are prepared to high quality standards and work as part of a high-risk team handling raw materials for product creation.

The role involves heavy lifting, manual handling, and prior food prep experience is desirable. Strong numeracy and literacy are important, with ability to follow procedures and communicate across departments.

Qualifications

• Good level of numeracy and literacy skills both verbal and written.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment or similar.
• Able to follow management instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Be an essential part of production in busy preparation area, ensuring ingredients meet high quality standards.

Shift Pattern/ Time: 1 x 5 days/week (Tue-Wed off) and 1 x 5 days/week (Sun and Wed off), 06.00-15.00

Rate: £13.36 hour

What you’ll be doing:

• You will be an essential part of production, working in the busy preparation area ensuring the ingredients are prepared to the highest quality and standards
• Working as part of the high-risk team preparing raw materials and ingredients to be used to make the products
• This is a physical role that requires some heavy lifting and manual handling
• Food prep and handling experience desirable

What we are looking for:

• Good level of numeracy and literacy skills both verbal and written
• Ideally, experience within a food manufacturing environment or similar environment
• Has a keen eye for detail and can demonstrate working in a safe manner and to good H&S practices
• Able to follow management instructions and procedures
• Able to liaise and communicate with other departments
• Basic Awareness and understanding of Food, Health, and Safety
• Ability to work under pressure and flexible
