Job summary

ABP UK is seeking a diligent role-holder to maintain a busy production line, ensuring all equipment is serviced and ready for operation. You will sign off daily startup checks, operate palletisation processes, and liaise with transport and production teams to maintain smooth workflows.

The role requires strong multitasking abilities, good interpersonal skills, and strict adherence to hygiene and safety practices in a busy production environment.

Qualifications

• Background in maintaining a busy production line.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all MHE equipment is serviceable and charged at all times.
• Faults reported immediately and keys kept securely.
• Start up checks signed off daily by operators.
• Operate scanners per procedures and report faults to IT/Maintenance.
• Keep area clean and tidy at all times.
• Regularly check product produced and ensure it is scanned for palletisation reports.
• Report shorts to departmental Champion.
• Coordinate trailers with Morris Transport; report unserviceable trailers to shunter.
