Job summary

ABP UK in Ellesmere (Hordley) is seeking a Despatch/Warehouse Operative for day and night shifts. You will maintain MHE readiness, operate scanners, ensure accurate palletisation and timely loading of trailers, while upholding hygiene and safety standards. The role requires attentiveness, teamwork and ability to work across rotating schedules.

Permanent, full-time position with on-site responsibilities; training provided and participation in team meetings is expected.

Qualifications

• Background involving maintenance of a busy production line.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Ensure MHE equipment is serviceable and charged; report faults.
• Operate scanners and keep the area clean and tidy.
• Count trays and pallets daily; report by 7:00 to despatch.
• Load trailers using a loading plan and coordinate transport with colleagues.
• Adhere to hygiene and safety rules and attend team meetings.
• Carry out training and any additional duties as required by management.
