Job summary

phs Group plc is seeking a Warehouse Operative – Despatch in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. The role involves picking and packing orders, loading vehicles and supporting the despatch process to serve end customers, care homes and businesses.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, self-motivated and able to work to targets with accuracy. Weekend shifts may be required on a rotating basis, with additional weekday days off when weekends are covered.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to perform warehouse tasks including picking/packing
• Experience handling goods and maintaining stock locations

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders in line with requirements and targets
• Loading orders onto vehicles and preparing for collection by carriers or click-and-collect
• Maintaining health and safety standards and reporting issues
• Adhering to ISO9001, 14001 and 45001 requirements
• Other duties as required to support warehouse operations
