Alpha Manufacturing, part of The HEX Group, is seeking a Despatch/Warehouse Operative for the morning shift 6:00am - 2:30pm at Pasturefields Lane, Hixon, Staffordshire. You will pick and pack orders, prepare goods for dispatch, operate a counterbalance forklift, and help maintain stock and safety standards.

A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is required. We offer a competitive salary with bonus, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, health and well-being benefits, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, stores, or despatch experience
• A valid Counterbalance FLT licence
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational and time management skills
• A positive, can-do attitude
• The ability to work well within a team
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills
• The capability to undertake manual handling and physical duties

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Preparing goods for dispatch, ensuring correct labelling and documentation
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
• Carrying out stock checks and reporting discrepancies
• Supporting warehouse organisation and housekeeping standards
• Working closely with production and warehouse colleagues to achieve daily targets
• Following all health and safety procedures and best practices
• Assisting with light assembly work when required

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated and reliable Despatch/Warehouse Operative to join our busy team and play a key role in ensuring our products reach customers safely, accurately, and on time.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our Warehouse and Despatch team, you'll be responsible for supporting the smooth flow of goods through our operation.

Your Duties Will Include

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
