Job summary

Impact Recruitment are recruiting for a Despatch & Quality Control Assistant to join our Northampton-based client, a well-established business supplying premium products worldwide. You will work in a small E-commerce team, bringing efficiency, enthusiasm and strong attention to detail to every shipment.

The role is permanent, Monday to Friday, with training provided and a discretionary annual bonus up to £2,000.

Qualifications

Attention to detail is essential; quality control is part of the role.
Strong concentration and accuracy in daily tasks.
Good IT literacy and comfortable with computer systems.
Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Picking and packing high-quality products for customers.
Maintaining accurate stock levels within the department.
Carrying out quality control checks on products before despatch.
Correcting minor issues where possible.
Ensuring products are handled carefully and presented to the required standard.
Using despatch systems and order management software to process customer orders.
Preparing shipments using systems such as DHL shipping.
Following company procedures to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Keeping managers informed of any issues to minimise problems.
Supporting the team to ensure the department remains safe, secure and organised.
