Job summary

CMbE (CarnaudMetalbox Engineering) in Wortley, Leeds, is recruiting a Despatch Operative on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. The role involves picking and packing spare parts and orders, ensuring a tidy and safe workspace, and communicating with the Despatch team.

The ideal candidate has warehouse experience and proficiency with Aras, IBS and JDE, plus a good grasp of computer and scanning systems. Counterbalance/reach/pivot steer truck licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Proficient on Aras, IBS and JDE.
• Good understanding of computers and warehouse scanning systems.
• Counterbalance, reach or pivot steer truck licence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack spare parts, equipment orders, machine loose parts and sub-contract parts.
• Maintain tidy and safe working environment following EHS practices.
• Communicate with the Despatch team and wider departments to coordinate orders.
• Show initiative and flexibility in problem solving.
