Albert Bartlett in Boston, Lincolnshire is recruiting a Despatch Operative to join our fresh potato packing site.

You will pick and pack orders, label dispatches, load and unload vehicles, and keep the despatch area orderly on a 4 on/4 off shift from 6am to 6pm.

The role suits someone with warehouse experience or a keen eye for detail, good teamwork, and flexibility to handle changing workloads; benefits include wellbeing and staff recognition schemes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or despatch environment is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently, adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Prepare items for dispatch, including labelling and documenting all necessary information.
• Load and unload products from delivery vehicles and ensure that they are stored in the correct locations.
• Conduct stock checks and maintain an organized despatch area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and dispatch targets.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area, following company policies and procedures.
