Albert Bartlett is recruiting for a Production Operative (Grading Shed) at our Boston packing site in Lincolnshire. The role operates on a 4 days on, 4 days off rolling shift, from 6am to 6pm, grading potatoes to ensure quality and weight specifications.

The position emphasizes accuracy, safety, teamwork and meeting daily targets. A positive attitude and a strong work ethic are valued in this fast-paced, family-run business.

Qualifications

• Experience in production or grading roles is advantageous in the food industry.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance.

• Physical fitness is required, as the role involves heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Accurately grade potato products, ensuring that all products meet quality and weight specifications.
• Inspect products for any defects or quality issues, reporting any concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the area, following all health and safety protocols.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines.
