Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial is seeking a Despatch Operative in Gloucester to pick, prepare and dispatch goods in a busy warehouse setting. The role runs Monday to Friday from 13:00 to 21:00, with overtime opportunities and immediate starts for suitable applicants.

You will verify paperwork, load goods onto the correct vehicles, and perform regular quality/quantity checks while adhering to safety standards and maintaining an efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, despatch or manufacturing environments.
• Good reading and checking skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable with accurate timekeeping and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing products for dispatch.
• Checking accessories and components against paperwork.
• Loading goods onto vehicles with accuracy.
• Carrying out quality and quantity checks.
• Following written and verbal instructions accurately.

• Regular manual handling and heavy lifting as required.
