Job summary

Albert Bartlett is recruiting a Despatch Operative for our Backshift at the Fresh potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire. Shift Sunday to Thursday, 18:00–02:15, with a base rate of £13.70/hr and a £0.50/hr backshift premium.

Responsibilities include picking/packing orders, dispatch prep, loading/unloading, stock checks, and keeping the despatch area organized. A Counterbalance FLT licence is required; warehouse experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• FLT counterbalance licence is required.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or despatch environment is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfilment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently, adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Prepare items for dispatch, including labelling and documenting all necessary information.
• Load and unload products from delivery vehicles and ensure that they are stored in the correct locations.
• Conduct stock checks and maintain an organized despatch area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and dispatch targets.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area, following company policies and procedures.

We are currently recruiting for a Despatch Operative on our Backshift at our Fresh potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire. Shift & Hours of work: Sunday to Thursday - fixed shift, working 18:00hrs to 02:15hrs Salary: £13.70 per hour (plus 50p per hour backshift premium)
