Job summary

Dunbia is hiring a full-time Despatch Operative to support the Retail Despatch Department at Granville, Northern Ireland. You will be responsible for unloading, weighing, scanning, stock rotation and order preparation to ensure smooth production flow.

We seek candidates with strong communication, good English, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team that delivers high levels of customer service. Flexibility for extra hours will be expected to meet demand.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload lorries and weigh product in.
• Scan product into and back from production.
• Adhere to correct stock rotation procedures.
• Check yields at end of production and investigate issues.
• Scan pallets.
• Stack products correctly in the chills.
• Stocktaking.
• Select correct orders.
• Load containers.
• Clerical duties associated with despatch of products.

Responsibilities

• Unloading lorries and weighing product in
• Scanning product into and back from production
• Adhering to correct stock rotation procedure
• Checking yields at the end of production and investigating any issues.
• Scanning pallets
• Stacking products correctly in the chills
• Stocktaking
• Selecting correct orders
• Loading containers
• Clerical duties associated with the despatch of products.

Qualifications

Essential

• Possess excellent communication skills
• A good level of spoken and written English
• Demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative whilst working as part of a team striving to achieve high levels of customer service
• Flexible approach to work and be prepared to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand.

Desirable

• Previous experience in the food industry is advantageous
