Job summary

Dunbia in the United Kingdom is seeking full-time Operatives to support the Retail Intake Departments and ensure smooth, accurate despatch of products. The role focuses on accuracy, speed, and quality across daily tasks in a chilled distribution setting.

You will perform scanning, stock rotation, yields checks, and order picking, with potential for on-the-job training and progression opportunities within a busy food production environment.

• Flexible approach to work and be prepared to work additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The Role

• Scanning product into and back from production
• Adhering to correct stock rotation procedure
• Checking yields at the end of production and investigating any issues
• Scanning pallets
• Stacking products correctly in the chills
• Stocktaking
• Selecting correct orders
• Loading containers
• Ensuring orders are correct
• Clerical duties associated with the despatch of products

Qualifications

The Person

Essential

• Possess excellent communication skills
• Good level of written and verbal English
• Demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative whilst working as part of a team striving to achieve high levels of customer service
• Flexible approach to work and be prepared to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand.

Desirable

• Previous experience in the food industry is advantageous.
