Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe in Attleborough, Norfolk, is seeking an experienced Despatch Manager to lead the Despatch, Warehouse and Logistics teams in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

You will drive stock accuracy, on-time despatch and continuous improvement while upholding Food Safety, HACCP, GMP and Health & Safety standards. Strong leadership, KPI management and SAP/Innova experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or distribution.
• Experience managing warehouse, despatch, or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of Food Safety, GMP, HACCP and Health & Safety.
• Ability to manage KPIs, stock accuracy, and performance.
• Leadership and coaching skills.
• SAP and/or Innova experience.
• Lean/Operational excellence or Continuous Improvement experience.
• Food Safety qualifications.

Lead Logistics Operations in a Fast-Paced Food Manufacturing Environment!

Pilgrim's Europe is looking for an experienced Despatch Manager to join our Attleborough site.

This role is critical to ensuring the efficient movement of raw materials and finished products within a high-volume food manufacturing operation. Working closely with Production, Planning, Technical, and Supply Chain teams, you'll lead the warehouse and despatch function to deliver outstanding service levels, stock accuracy, and operational performance while maintaining the highest standards of Food Safety, Quality, and Health & Safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Despatch, Warehouse, and Logistics teams.
• Manage warehouse operations, stock control, picking, loading, despatch, and material movements.
• Ensure products are stored and distributed in line with Food Safety, GMP, and customer requirements.
• Manage third-party logistics providers and transport operations.
