Job description

Desktop Support Engineer (Security Cleared, SC)

Location: Milton Keynes

Shifts: Rotating Early, Mid, Late shifts to cover 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Pay Rate:

  • £17.87 per hour via Umbrella
  • £13.77 per hour via Hays PAYE

Contract Length: 3 months +

The successful candidate must hold current SC clearance.

A leading provider of IT services and solutions is currently seeking a SC Cleared Desktop Support Engineer to join their expanding team at their offices in Milton Keynes.

This role requires working in a Security Cleared environment, so holding current SC clearance is essential.

The responsibilities include:

  • Investigating and resolving incidents
  • Fulfilling support requests
  • Assisting with problem investigations
  • Generating support documentation
  • Providing technical coaching
  • Ensuring adherence to standards and procedures
  • Delivering technical support and service to clients

Ideal candidates will possess highly developed interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with customers and ensuring a positive customer experience. The ability to work well within a team and maintain enthusiasm and supportiveness in a pressurized environment is also essential.
