Job summary

Avencia Talent Solutions Limited is seeking a Deskside Support Analyst in Manchester to provide hands-on end-user support onsite within a large organisation.

You will resolve escalated issues for Windows, macOS, printers and VPN, work with ServiceNow, Intune and JIRA, and participate in IT projects while maintaining excellent user experience. Occasional travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in deskside/ end-user support within a medium-to-large organisation.
• Proficient in Windows and macOS operating systems and Microsoft Office 365.
• Familiar with ITSM tools (ServiceNow) and ticketing (JIRA).
• Knowledge of Intune/endpoint management and network basics.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to explain technical issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide priority and escalated deskside support for end-user issues.
• Support onsite IT equipment and peripherals, printers, VPN, Wi-Fi and LAN access.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows, macOS, and Office 365 environments.
• Manage onsite Tech Bar support and collaborate with IT teams and vendors.
• Update and maintain documentation in knowledge bases and ServiceNow.
• Participate in IT projects and on-call rota as part of the team.
