A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced Uptime Engineer in Birmingham to ensure the operational efficiency of equipment. You'll develop maintenance strategies, troubleshoot issues, and manage customer communications. Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance and experience as a Heavy Plant Engineer. The role includes strong focus on customer service and collaboration with internal teams to enhance performance and reduce downtime.

Formación

• Experience in a Heavy Plant Engineer role with demonstrable diagnostic and repair experience.
• Good technical knowledge of current heavy plant mechanical systems, machine ranges and parts.
• Ability to work at pace and using own initiative.

Responsabilidades

• Develop maintenance strategies based on contract fleet trends.
• Ensure systems are updated with accurate machine data.
• Use inspection reports to identify machine issues.

Conocimientos

Diagnostic and repair experience

Educación
