Overview

Join our team as a Desk Based Account Manager Team Lead managing a team of Account Executives at our Aylesbury office and help us drive success and growth. A quick look at the role: To manage and be responsible for the commercial relationship between Biffa and specified Major clients. The role will cover financial performance, growth and development, meeting the relevant KPI's and SLA's, compliance, customer satisfaction and retention and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact between Biffa and major clients, ensuring the implementation of business account plans, service success, and contract compliance.
  • Client Retention and Growth: Foster positive relationships and expand service provisions to retain major clients and achieve the budgeted annual revenue.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive customer reviews and present detailed reports using Power BI, covering aspects such as service success, landfill diversion, weights, and financials.
  • Issue Resolution: Support depots and customer services in addressing site-related issues, including Health and Safety concerns, container changes, and the introduction of alternative services.
  • Debt and Invoicing Management: Maintain customer debt positions in line with contractual commitments, manage invoicing queries within set SLAs, and resolve issues causing invoice delays or credit production.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage proficiently at all levels to negotiate, influence, and communicate effectively both internally and externally, ensuring long-term benefits for all parties.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and standards within the business and industry, staying informed about regulatory changes and implementing necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Leadership and people skills with an excellent coaching ability.
  • Track record of delivering targets and working towards KPI's.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to translate that to a team whilst making the complex simple.
  • Knowledge of people management processes.
