Job summary

Sudlows is recruiting an experienced Desk-Based Account Manager to join our Sales & Commercial team. You will manage an allocated portfolio of customers, build long-term relationships and identify revenue opportunities across existing accounts.

Based from our head office in Manchester, you will collaborate with Sales, Technical, Estimating and Operations to move opportunities from enquiry to order, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing an allocated portfolio of customers.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Experience in driving revenue and profitability across accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage an allocated portfolio of existing customers and develop long-term relationships.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring professional, responsive service.
• Understand customer requirements and business drivers to identify opportunities.
• Maintain regular contact with key customer stakeholders.
• Identify additional services, solutions and expertise to offer.
• Co-ordinate with Sales, Technical, Estimating and Operations teams to progress from enquiry to order.
