The role focuses on the development of collections that align with the COS aesthetic, requiring strong design fundamentals and the ability to collaborate with various teams. Candidates should possess a degree in Fashion Design and demonstrate a keen eye for modern trends.
Job Description
As a Designer on womenswear woven casual you will help to deliver the assortment and develop the collection through all channels. You are responsible to support with a clear vision and targets of your department. In this role you will propose new ideas, development, fabric yarn and research to improve the COS collection, always with attention to detail. You will have a clear understanding of the COS aesthetic and the customer to ensure visual and design targets of the brand are met. You will constantly look for and bring to the table, new relevant fashion ideas. Your technical product knowledge must be to a confident standard, and you should be able to communicate this to design, buying and pattern teams.
