MBH Architects in London is seeking a Designer Part 2 to join the Retail team. You will work with Project Leaders and Project Managers from concept through construction documentation.

Responsibilities include producing architectural drawings, implementing revisions, solving space planning challenges, and coordinating with consultants across design stages. Hybrid work in London with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD; Revit assessment will be administered.
• Experience using Revit for retail rollout projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Deadline-driven with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with other design software such as Bluebeam and Rhino.
• Experience with site surveys is preferred.
• Progress towards professional registration is desirable.

We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative individual to join our Retail team as a Designer Part 2 in our London office. In this role, you will work closely with Project Leaders and Project Managers throughout all stages of design, from initial concept through to the production of comprehensive construction documentation.

What You'll Do

• Assist with the production of architectural drawings for retail clients
• Implement corrections, revisions, redlines and comments on architectural drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
• Resolve space planning and adjacency requirements
• Participate in site planning, programming, design development, detailing, and coordination with consultants
• Collaborate with the team to improve architectural production methods and processes

Portfolio requirement

• Examples of technical/construction documentation prepared at RIBA Stage 4, including detailed drawings, schedules, and specifications, demonstrating proficiency in Revit
