Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Designer/Senior Designer for facade and cladding projects in a hybrid role based in North London. The successful candidate will produce detailed technical drawings, construction details and specifications for SFS, rainscreen, render, and curtain walling, while coordinating with architects and engineers to ensure fully integrated designs.

Qualifications

• Producing detailed technical drawings, construction details and specifications.
• Review architectural and structural drawings to ensure designs are fully coordinated.
• Good understanding of UK building regulations, CDM requirements, and compliance standards.
• Attend design meetings and provide technical expertise on façade and cladding systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings and construction details for facade/cladding.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers to ensure design integrity.
• Create specifications for SFS, rainscreen cladding, render and curtain walling.
• Ensure designs comply with UK building regulations and CDM requirements.
• Present design solutions at design meetings and site reviews.
