TRP Recruitment Limited is partnering with a Central London fashion supplier to recruit a talented childrenswear designer. The role focuses on trend-led design across multiple product categories, translating briefs into commercially viable ranges while maintaining strong fashion awareness and a sharp eye for market trends.

The successful candidate will create CADs, mood and trend boards, and work closely with overseas factories through sampling and development in a fast-paced, hybrid setting.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in childrenswear design, ideally within a supplier environment.
• Strong trend-led handwriting with excellent fashion awareness and commercial instinct.
• Experience working with supermarkets and fashion-forward high street customers would be highly advantageous.
• Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills with confidence creating CADs and technical design packs.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop trend-led childrenswear collections across multiple product categories.
• Research emerging fashion, colour, fabric, shape and cultural trends to inspire new concepts.
• Create seasonal trend boards, mood boards, CADs and customer presentations.
• Develop commercially relevant ranges tailored to different customers and age groups.
• Work closely with customers to interpret briefs and translate them into successful product.
• Produce detailed CADs, technical packs and accurate design specifications.
• Work closely with overseas factories throughout the sampling and development process.
• Manage multiple developments and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.

We are working with an exciting fashion supplier based in Central London looking for a talented Childrenswear Designer to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly creative designer with a strong fashion eye, a trend-led handwriting and experience developing commercial childrenswear for supermarkets and fashion-forward high street brands. The company offers hybrid working.

We are looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas, strong product knowledge and excellent commercial awareness to a fast-paced design environment.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Design and develop trend-led childrenswear collections across multiple product categories
• Research emerging fashion, colour, fabric, shape and cultural trends to inspire new concepts
• Create seasonal trend boards, mood boards, CADs and customer presentations
• Develop commercially relevant ranges tailored to different customers and age groups
• Work closely with customers to interpret briefs and translate them into successful product
• Produce detailed CADs, technical packs and accurate design specifications
• Work closely with overseas factories throughout the sampling and development process
• Manage multiple developments and deadlines within a fast-paced environment

Person specification:

• Previous experience within childrenswear design, ideally within a supplier environment
