TRP Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Womenswear Designer for a fashion supplier group based in London, with hybrid working.

You will lead trend-led womenswear for the UK high street, present collections to senior Buyers, and drive new ranges in collaboration with mills, suppliers and print teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Senior Designer or experienced Designer position.
• Strong understanding of the UK high street, consumer trends, product development and the commercial requirements of major retailers.
• A creative and versatile designer with the ability to interpret trends and translate them into commercially successful collections.
• Confident communicating and presenting directly to senior Buyers, with excellent relationship-building and influencing skills.
• Highly organised, with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong fabric knowledge, including experience sourcing and developing fabrics, prints and finishes alongside mills and suppliers.
• Advanced Adobe Illustrator skills, with the ability to produce detailed CADs, technical packs and factory-ready specifications.
• Experience using AI design tools to support creative development, range planning and professional customer presentations.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop commercial, trend-led womenswear collections tailored to the UK high street.
• Work directly with senior Buyers, confidently presenting new collections, product developments, trend concepts and commercial opportunities.
• Drive a continuous flow of newness, developing fresh ranges, designs and fabrications in line with monthly customer requirements.
• Research and interpret emerging fashion trends, colours, prints, fabrics and key silhouettes, translating these into commercially relevant collections.
• Take ownership of the account's design requirements, managing multiple projects, priorities and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, understanding their expectations, customer profiles and commercial objectives.
• Source and develop new fabrics, prints and finishes, liaising closely with fabric mills, suppliers and print teams.
• Produce accurate CADs, technical drawings and detailed specification packs using Adobe Illustrator, ensuring clear communication with factories.
• Utilise AI design tools to support trend research, concept development, range building and the creation of engaging customer presentations.

We are working with a successful and growing fashion supplier who is looking to recruit an experienced, commercially driven Senior Womenswear Designer across womenswear wovens.
