The Witherslack Group is seeking an experienced Designated Safeguarding Lead to oversee safeguarding within the school and collaborate with agencies, parents, and staff. You will act as a trusted source of guidance on wellbeing, child protection and safeguarding, supported by a strong CPD portfolio.

You will join a leadership team focused on ensuring every pupil receives an outstanding educational experience with individual progress at the heart of our approach.

Qualificações

• At least 3 years' experience as Designated Safeguarding Lead (or equivalent).
• Portfolio of CPD related to safeguarding and child protection.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-resolution skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead safeguarding within the school and liaise with statutory and non-statutory agencies, parents/carers and staff.
• Provide expert safeguarding guidance and support to the leadership team and school staff.
• Promote wellbeing, child protection and safeguarding across the school community.
