Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking an experienced Assistant Headteacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to join a Northamptonshire school.

This role combines strategic leadership with safeguarding oversight, wellbeing and pastoral care. The successful candidate will lead safeguarding and child protection, chair policy development, work with families and external agencies, and contribute to school-wide improvement.

Are you an experienced safeguarding professional looking for a senior leadership opportunity? We are seeking an outstanding Assistant Headteacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to join a committed leadership team.

This pivotal role combines strategic school leadership with responsibility for safeguarding, wellbeing and pastoral care across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of safeguarding and child protection
• Act as the school's Designated Safeguarding Lead
• Develop and monitor safeguarding policies and procedures
• Work closely with students, families and external agencies
• Contribute to whole-school improvement and leadership

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• QTS and substantial school leadership experience
• Extensive safeguarding knowledge and experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
