TeacherActive Ltd is recruiting a Design & Technology Technician in Birmingham. This role is part-time, three days per week (Tuesday to Thursday) and will support textiles, graphics and resistant materials during practical lessons, while preparing resources and setting up workshops for students.

The successful candidate will work in a safe, organised workshop environment, with strong organisational and communication skills and a proactive approach. PAYE with competitive daily rates (£110–£130).

Formación

• Experience working within Design and Technology or a practical workshop environment.
• Experience supporting textiles, graphics and/or resistant materials.
• Confidence supporting teachers and students during practical lessons.
• An understanding of maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A positive and proactive approach to supporting students and staff.

The school is looking to take on a DT Technician on a part-time basis, working three days per week from Tuesday to Thursday. The successful DT Technician will support teachers across textiles, graphics and resistant materials during practical lessons, as well as preparing resources and setting up workshops ready for students.

The successful DT Technician will have:

• Experience working within Design and Technology or a practical workshop environment
• Experience supporting textiles, graphics and/or resistant materials
• Confidence supporting teachers and students during practical lessons
• An understanding of maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A positive and proactive approach to supporting students and staff
