Job summary

Simply Education Ltd. is seeking a Design & Technology Teacher for a grammar school in Medway. You will deliver engaging, practical lessons across KS3 and KS4, with GCSE teaching experience advantageous.

The role is full-time and permanent, based in Medway, Kent. A strong emphasis on creativity, practical skills and safety will guide your teaching approach. The successful candidate will hold QTS or a recognised UK teaching qualification and may be an ECT.

Qualifications

• QTS or a recognised UK teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Design & Technology within a secondary setting.
• Strong subject and practical knowledge.
• Confident delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• GCSE teaching experience advantageous.
• Strong classroom management and health & safety awareness.
• Ability to plan engaging and creative lessons.
• ECTs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, practical Design & Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and assess practical activities to support learning.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety in workshop environments.
• Contribute to department planning and curriculum development.
