Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a qualified Design Technology teacher for flexible daily supply across Liverpool. The role covers KS3-4 with immediate starts in a range of secondary schools, offering variety and adaptability for a flexible schedule.

You will deliver engaging lessons, follow schemes of work, uphold health and safety, and support pupils' practical and theoretical learning. This is suitable for experienced teachers and ECTs seeking diverse classroom experience.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Design Technology at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge in DT and ability to deliver engaging lessons.
• Understanding of workshop safety and safe learning environments.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Design Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4.
• Teach a range of topics including product design, materials, graphics, CAD/CAM where applicable.
• Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning.
• Maintain safe classrooms and ensure health and safety procedures in practical lessons.
