Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a Design Technology Teacher to deliver engaging lessons for KS3 and KS4 in a Newcastle upon Tyne secondary school. The post is a long-term supply role with competitive daily PAYE rates.

The successful candidate will plan and teach practical and theory-based DT sessions, support student development in design and evaluation, and uphold safe workshop practices within a collaborative technology department.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Design Technology at KS3 and KS4.
• Knowledge of at least one DT specialism (e.g. Resistant Materials, Product Design, Graphics, Food Technology, Engineering).
• Strong classroom and workshop management skills.
• A passion for Design.
