Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking a Design & Technology Teacher for a secondary school in North London. The post involves delivering DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting creativity and practical skills in well-equipped facilities.

Applicant must have QTS or equivalent and a degree in Design & Technology. Experience teaching DT at secondary level is preferred; excellent communication and safeguarding commitment are essential.

Qualifications

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive DT lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
• Teach a range of DT specialisms such as product design, resistant materials, graphics, or textiles, depending on expertise.
• Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that encourages students to develop their practical and design thinking skills.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Contribute to the wider school community, including participation in school events, clubs, and enrichment activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and progression across the DT curriculum.

Requirements:
