2. Develop and implement a curriculum that explores product design, textiles, and food technology.
3. Prepare students for examinations and practical assessments.
4. Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate design technology into the broader curriculum.
6. Organise and lead projects, exhibitions, and design-related events.
7. Stay updated with the latest developments in design technology education and incorporate new methods and technologies.
8. Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Design Technology Education or related field.
9. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
10. Have proven experience teaching Design Technology at the secondary level.
11. Demonstrate strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and processes.
12. Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
