Art and Design Technology Teacher

Are you an experienced Design and Technology Teacher looking for a new challenge?

U-Educate is currently recruiting Art and Design Technology Teachers to work in secondary schools based in Basingstoke. We are seeking both day-to-day and long-term supply teachers for various roles.

Job Description
  1. Planning, marking, and assessing lessons
  2. Preparing and developing lesson plans, curricula, and teaching materials
  3. Engaging, motivating, and encouraging students
  4. Providing helpful feedback to students about their progress
  5. Managing classroom behavior
  6. Adapting instructional materials and teaching methods to meet varying student learning abilities
Requirements
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  2. Up-to-date knowledge of the Design and Technology curriculum
  3. Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children
  4. Relevant teaching experience across Key stages 3, 4, and 5
  5. Recent Safeguarding Training (a free course can be undertaken with U-Educate if your certificate is within the last 12 months)
