Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time (Sep 2025 - Feb 2026)

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £162 - £251 Per day

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Design Technology lessons to students.
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback.
  • Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and inclusive learning space.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching strategies.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Degree in Design Technology or related field
  • Experience teaching Design Technology at the secondary level
  • Strong knowledge of Design Technology curriculum and teaching methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively engage and motivate students
  • Organisational skills to plan lessons and assess student progress
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
  • Temporary position with the potential for extension
  • Full-time hours with regular school hours
  • Work in a school setting with access to necessary resources and support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
