Job summary

Amazon’s London Creative Hub is seeking a Design Technologist to bridge creative production and engineering, building tools and automation for content at scale. The role focuses on GenAI, computer vision, and virtual production to streamline workflows on set and in post-production.

You’ll collaborate with studio crews, creatives, and operations to deliver practical, scalable solutions that keep visual standards strong while pushing the boundaries of on-set technology.

Qualifications

• Experience with TouchDesigner for virtual production or interactive studio installations.
• Experience with GenAI tools and workflows (Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, RunwayML, etc.).
• Knowledge of Computer Vision applications in content creation.
• Experience with Unreal Engine or real-time rendering for studio use.
• Familiarity with DAM systems, asset pipelines, and metadata automation.
• Experience with ML tools and methods applied to visual content.
• Understanding of studio photography/video workflows and creative team dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Workflow Automation: Design, develop, and maintain semi-automated production workflows for in-house video and stills creation, including virtual production pipelines and GenAI-assisted processes.
• Creative Tooling: Build and maintain a centralized suite of tools, scripts, and automation to improve crew productivity and reduce manual repetition.
• Bridge Role: Translate creative needs into technical solutions and vice versa between creative teams and engineering.
• Prototyping & Innovation: Research and implement GenAI, CV, AR/VR, and real-time rendering trends to expand studio capabilities.
• On-Set Collaboration: Work with studio production teams to identify friction points and deliver practical solutions.
• Quality & Consistency: Develop technical solutions to maintain visual standards at scale.
