Job summary

Taylor Made Joinery Interiors Limited in London and Bildeston is seeking a Design Technician to create high-quality, detailed technical drawings from architect designs across multiple projects.

You will work closely with Design Managers to ensure drawings meet industry and health and safety standards, update responses, take ownership of joinery design through to project completion, and support production queries and continuous improvement processes.

Qualifications

• High-quality, to-scale technical drawings required.
• Compliance with industry and health and safety standards expected.

• Own the joinery design elements through to project completion.
• Cross-check drawings with architects' details and latest drawings.
• Support production queries with technical input.

Responsibilities

A leader within the UK construction market offering bespoke joinery solutions for Commercial, Residential and Specialist projects, we are looking for an innovative and passionate individual to work collaboratively with teams as a Design Technician in our London and Bildeston office.

This is a dynamic role, requiring simultaneous creation of high quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by architects and designers across multiple projects.

This role involves working very closely with Design Managers and other key members of the project team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate, detailed and to scale drawings
• Ensure drawings are compliant with industry and health and safety standards and protocols
• Update drawings to internal and external comments
• Take ownership and responsibility for the design of the joinery elements allocated to you right through to project competition
• Checking drawings against architects details and ensuring the latest architects drawings are being worked to.
• Assist with production queries and issues needing technical support
• Assist in developingwork processes withincontinuous improvement work
