Job summary

The Academy, Selsey in West Sussex is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Design & Technology (3D Art and Design) to inspire students and deliver KS3 practical projects as well as GCSE 3D Art and Design within a workshop-based environment.

You will promote safe workshop practices, support diverse learners including SEND, and collaborate with the department and Kemnal Academies Trust to raise attainment and foster a culture of Pride in Excellence.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience delivering KS3 Design & Technology and GCSE 3D Art & Design.
• Commitment to safe workshop practice and inclusive teaching.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging KS3 Design & Technology projects and GCSE 3D Art & Design in a workshop environment.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and exam preparation guidance.
• Uphold health and safety standards across technology workshops in partnership with technicians.
