Highbury Recruitment is seeking an experienced Design Office Manager to lead the design function for a specialist construction business in Norwich. You will manage drawing production, revisions, document control and coordinate design programmes against milestones.

The role requires advanced AutoCAD proficiency, background in construction/facades/architecture, and the ability to liaison with consultants and site teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced AutoCAD proficiency required.
• Experience as Design Office Manager or similar roles.
• Strong construction drawing and technical detailing knowledge.
• Excellent organisation, project coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple live projects.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage design office activities, drawing production, revisions and document control.
• Coordinate design programmes to align with project milestones.
• Manage consultants, architects and specialist designers as needed.
• Support planning, building control and technical submissions.
• Oversee design records, documentation and project files.
• Assist with recruitment, training and development of the design team.
