Job summary

Somerset Council's Flood Resilience Programme offers a Design and Marketing Graduate role to develop branding and creative communications across digital and print. You'll work with multiple teams to create engaging campaigns and materials that support communities and reduce flood risk.

This full-time, two-year fixed-term position provides hands-on learning in a local government setting, with a professional development plan and opportunities to influence projects from day one.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree or equivalent qualification with 2:2 or better
• Experience delivering design/marketing outputs across digital and print
• Strong communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Create engaging design and marketing materials across digital and print platforms.
• Support planning and delivery of communications campaigns and community engagement.
• Undertake research to inform communications and project work.
• Assist with project delivery and maintain information for programme outcomes.
• Build positive relationships with colleagues, partners, and suppliers.
