Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Design & Manufacturing Engineer in Cramlington. The role blends product design, 3D CAD modelling and manufacturing engineering, taking projects from concept through to production.

You will work with SolidWorks and Fusion 360, develop new products, modify existing ones, and produce detailed drawings, BOMs and documentation while supporting prototype testing and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Design Engineer or similar role.
• Proven ability to design and document products.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models, assemblies and drawings using SolidWorks and Fusion 360.
• Design and develop new products from concept to manufacture.
• Improve existing products for performance and manufacturability.
• Produce BOMs and engineering documentation.
• Support prototype development, testing and validation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure efficient delivery.
• Assist with tooling and process improvements.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
