MWH Treatment Limited seeks a Design Manager for the Cambridge Waste Water Treatment Plant relocation project, focusing on managing technical delivery and leading a team. The role requires an engineering degree and extensive experience in the water industry, ensuring innovative and sustainable solutions are met for project success.
MWH Treatment is looking to strengthen our Engineering team with a Design Manager for our Anglian Water region on the Cambridge relocation project. Based in the Peterborough & Cambridge area, with the design currently at outline status, you will manage the delivery of the final optioneering stage and detailed design for construction. You will ensure all technical outputs meet project requirements within agreed timescales and provide technical support during assembly as needed.
With a large team to lead, you will operate in a visible and supportive manner, being recognized as a technical engineering expert who can be trusted to provide sound and constructive advice.
The Cambridge relocation project involves designing and building a modern, low-carbon wastewater treatment plant to serve the community and environment. It will recycle water and nutrients, produce green energy, and support sustainable growth in Greater Cambridge.
Known as the Cambridge Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) Relocation Project, Anglian Water collaborates with partners including MMB & Skanska to deliver this significant project. The relocation will free up the current WWTP site for development into a new low-carbon city district, North East Cambridge, which aims to create approximately 8,350 homes and 15,000 jobs over the next 20 years.
